RV Associates was established in 1979 and incorporated in 1980 by W.E. (Red) Lumsden and was a full-service site and civil general contractor that performed work under competitively bid and negotiated contracts for both private and public clients. Recognized for its excellence in construction of engineered and complex total site development projects, RV Associates’ expertise extended into large residential plats, apartment complexes, retail centers, commercial and industrial sites, wetlands mitigation and military installations in any terrain and environment.

From its humble beginnings in 1979, RV Associates became one of the most capable and experienced site and civil general contractors in the Northwest, allowing us to work on large projects locally and regionally. We earned this reputation of quality and value, by responding to our clients’ needs and maintaining a strong work ethic, while keeping abreast with the latest construction technologies and methods.

As of October 2025 our office has officially closed. Thank you to all of our partners, clients, and employees for working with us over these 46 years.
